Ganesh is the god of beginnings. Among other things. But it is at the beginning of a journey, venture or life change that his guidance and protection is typically sought. As a human being on a spiritual journey considering big changes, I might be wise to keep Ganesh in mind. I believe we are all spiritual beings, all of us on spiritual journeys and every single one of us having the common goal of being fulfilled and finding meaning in our lives. And while we are all the same in those things, each of our paths is unique.

I think the Universe (capital U) speaks to us through the mundane, the ordinary events that shape our lives. Nothing is accidental. It is in the participation in the dialogue with the Universe that we find meaning and can attain fulfillment. What are seen as obstacles are perhaps only stepping stones.
